Centsible is not very good IMO, but many people had succesful transactions with them.

Yes it is, but that's the price we Yanks have to pay for Amiga parts and equipment :sad

Even for yank standards, Centsible prices are, IMO, too high!

Perhaps so, this is why I tend to purchase most of my parts from Software Hut in PA. I've always been satsfied with their products and the service afterwards ;)

I bought my cd32 from them for $60.

Works good, except now the controller is going dead.

i would probably be cheaper to come over to the UK and buy some bits from Computer Exchange (large retro game shop in London)

Original CD32 pad, I take it? They have a nasty tendency to do that. Go dead, that is.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the Competition Pro CD32 as a straight replacement. Just like their Megadrive pads - brilliant build quality.

Good karma to anyone who can suggest a supplier, as I can't find one these days. :sad

Censi has always been nice to me, items arrived as advertised.

I can even recommend Centsible for overseas transactions. They are very reliable...

I've dealt with them and had good results, too. They could have used a more sturdy box to ship in, but everything was in adequate condition.

I cant get this place! the prices are silly... if i was a git i could get my whole collection of amiga stuff and make a right mint selling it over in america!

Why do you guys pay so much for amiga kit????

Because Amigas did not sell that well in the USA, so finding them at every swap meet (car boot) is something that almost *never* happens here. Almost the only Amigas that even exist here are from the handful of us fanatics and professional Video Toaster users. And oddly enough, that's exactly the same kind of stats the Amiga had here when it was at its peak in Europe. (sigh)

So less units drives up demand for collectors and thus retailers can charge an arm and a leg. Because they can. :rolleyes

What shocked me was the amiga hardware bits! the 23pin ports and 9pin d-sub covers! i can walk into any tv/radio shop and buy these for pennys.... I feel sorry for you guys :(
