Hello.

I have forgotten the name of this game...

It was a public domain game, which was billed as being inspired by the movie "Falling Down". ie. a normal citizen gets fed up with society and goes crazy.

The game was sideview with the action taking place on a single screen. I think the objective was kill to as many people as possible before you got killed....

I would like to take another look at this game, so if anyone remembers playing this, then please let me know.

I think you might mean Damage, though you was genetically enhanced there I think.

Other than that a company made a game called Postal where you're a postal worker gone rampant, seen from an isometric angle you walk around shooting everything in the level until you complete it and go to the next level to shoot everything...etc

They say they're developing on a Postal 2 where you get to chose when you decide to go amok, like for example in the supermarket where someone cuts ahead of you in the queue, is a real ass to you if you point out it's not very nice, and what you decide to do when they close that register right in front of your nose. How much will you take before you start killing?

Thanks everyone.

I just checked out Damage, and yes, thats the one!

I'd only seen the preview version before, so I was unaware of the heros genetic modifaction.

cheers!

PS. Postal was OK, and Postal 2 sounds intriguing.... unfortuantly I doubt it will make it the Amiga.....

There was a thread about it earlier Burseg.

As for postal 2. I don't remember where, but I once saw a page describing the workings of how postal 2 would be. I believe it was in conjunction with a debate of banning violent games in sweden that someone brought up postal, and someone found a link for postal 2 where they were talking about encouraging / just letting the user decide.

ahh, find some stuff on www.ve3d.com (use the search)
