I'm looking for compatible disk images for these games.
Mean Machine v1.2 - Possible slave issue as I'm not the only one having problems according to MantisBT
UN Squadron (German) v1.2
1time was kind enough to provide some images but I have problems with this:
Mean Machine v1.2
Exception "Illegal Instruction" ($10) at $64 occured.
Oh and btw, U.N. Squadron was the english version 1time. ;)
It's the german I'm after.
Gordon, thanks for your images too, they worked great. :)

Try the zone in a minute for Fighter Bomber Advanced Mission Disk
Retroplay
17 July 2011, 14:59
Thanks Galahad. :)
I'm having a strange issue here with the zip packer in ClassicWB.
If I zip Embryo_v1.0_2265 the files get corrupted but if I use lha it works.
This is the only game I have ever encountered having this problem. :confused
[edit]
There seems to be problems with Fighter Bomber Advanced Missions.
I get a
Exception "Illegal Instruction" ($10) at $9FC608 (Slave $180) occured.
with your image Galahad.

I'm running 17.0.5033 as well.
I tried with 16.8 too but that didn't help.
Please don´t forget to include
- Hero Quest (German language fix)
- Super Street Fighter II DX
Thanks! :)
Really strange. It works perfect for me. Tell me if you need any help.

Same thing on my real A1200, neither work. :(
Older slaves do work though.
@Viddi
Do you have more info on the german language fix for Hero Quest ?

Jep, working fine here.
What are your Amiga specs or WinUAE settings ?
No matter what I do both games crashes with errors, that goes for WinUAE and my real A1200 as well. :banghead
My real A1200 specs:
680EC20 14mhz, Kick3.0, 8mb fast, ClassicWB Full v26 (OS3.1), 4gb CF HDD PFS3DS formatted.
What are your Amiga specs or WinUAE settings ?
A4000 060/PIV/OS 3.9
A1200 1230 MK IV/64MB/OS 3.9
I´m downgrading the A4000 to WB 3.1 atm. and will recheck the WHD installs tom. :)

Perhaps somebody with whdload coding experience can shed some light on this rather annoying issue ?

@all: Somebody has tried the game Misja Harolda? The intro works fine on my Amiga but then the game crashes with an error message. Can anyone confirm this?
Try the new WHDLoad beta. http://www.whdload.de/whdload/whd170.lha
If that does not work, try with NOCACHE.

Another two problems with other packs:
Embryo_v1.0_2265
Upon loading I am greeted with the message "Necesary file is corrupt!! Please copy all ''Embryo'' files again from your original workdisks"
EnemyTempestOfViolence_v1.1_EasyPlay
English version of the game with German version of the intro. Oh, and those level codes are for the wrong version too.

Did you redownload the lha archive ?
The old zip corrupted the files and also make sure to extract on Amiga or under emulation.

Yeah, I was talking about the LHA version, and yes I did extract it on my A1200. BUT I made the mistake of extracting it to a FAT formatted CF card (where I usually put my temporary files), which it does not seem to like for some reason. It works fine if I extract it to an FFS formatted drive.
Also I'm enjoying watching/reading the intro of Enemy as I type this.
