Howdy all,

I'm a newbie, to both this forum and the Amiga. I had the C64, my mate had an A500, but I couldn't afford one back then:( Anyway I found winuae and have been muckng around with it for a few days and I have a couple of q's if anyone can help.

What is WHDLoad, and do I need it for emul.?

Does anyone know if the C64 game Spacetaxi was ever written for the Amiga?

Is there a game where you are a guy with a rocket pack on your back and you go into mines and dodge insects and lava for the Amiga (I think I remember it for 64)?

Ahem, 1. WHDload is a program for harddisk installing games on the Amiga. Works fine under emulation. No you don't need it.
2. Yes there are a couple of Space taxi clones, none of them good. Best one is a freeware version simply called space taxi. I believe you should be able to find that through the thread "how to find the ADf you're looking for", otherwise you could try Sky cabbie which is a commercial clone.
3. Don't know, but the plot seems simple the way you say it. Any plot you remember? A pre-story.

3. sounds similar to Jetpac... but I dont think any games liek this were released for the Amiga. At least not commercially. perhaps a PD clone exists...

The jetpack game sounds a bit like Exile.

The freeware Space Taxi 2 which can be found on Aminet is actually pretty good!
