EAB/Lemon Super League 2011: Round 9 Game Vote - OPEN ROUND
Starts: 00:01 July 10 Finishes: 23:59 July 23

Rules

Full rules are here (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=41652).

Vote for five games.

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt.

Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon.

If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify.

The winners of Round 8 have double voting power for Round 9. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled. If one person wins both games in Round 8 their vote is trebled.

Bring a Friend!

Anybody who invites a totally new player into the competition will get double voting power for the next round.

A few terms and conditions:

1. The new player has to post a score for the designated round and has to confirm who they were invited by.

2. Only one double vote per person per round (although the voting bonus for winning the round will still apply).

3. Anybody who has ever taken part in a Super League or Knockout tournament (even once) does not count as a new player.

4. Players deliberately abusing this offer (i.e. getting someone to post a comedy score to get them the double vote) will have their double vote withdrawn.

Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here (http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9144).

This is the second Open Round of the season, meaning any game at all can be voted for as long as it is suitable for competition play.

Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence...

The voting's over and it's a close one (helped by capehorn's cheeky little vote at the end there)...

1. Superfrog - 26
2. The Chaos Engine - 23
3. Gods - 15
4. Super Cars 2 - 11
5. Leander - 11

Total votes: 15 - Total games voted for: 45

With two votes yet to be doubled, this one really could go either way - and if somebody actually takes advantage of the Bring a Friend offer, that could potentially throw another spanner into the works.

Thanks to lifeschool's treble vote for two wins, the final standings now read thus...

1. Superfrog - 34*
2. The Chaos Engine - 23
3. Turrican 2 - 20*
4. Gods - 15
5. Hunter - 12*

So Superfrog it is and it becomes the first game to be played in the League twice.
