Anyone using a hurricane 500 with whdload?
Just managed to get my a500 up running with whdload.
But so far i've only gotten supercars 2 up running properly.

I only got 0.5 meg chipram so far and i know that a lot of games need more then that.
But if that is to course a problem, it will not start up at all will it?

Will start up then a window will open with an unrelated error (like: "I cannot see a file inside the disk.1 image, etc).

Hack the motherboard to get a full 1Mb of chip RAM or get rich and buy a Megachip/MiniMegiChip.

If you are rich enough, buy a second unit and send to me. My A500 will thank you.

Just experienced a different problem with this accelerator.
I got 4 mb on my hdd controller and 1 mb on the accelerator.
The mem on the accelerator is 32 bit and not auto configurable.

When i map the 32 bit memory, some whdload slaves hang upon startup.
Is this because it has trouble using 2 different kind of memory?
When i do not config the 32 bit memory, it will start.

I also tried to use the "nomemreverse" in whdload, but with no success.

That's because WHDLoad tries to stuff the archives on the highest priority RAM. Since that memory is not enough, the pre-loading fails.

But isn't that what "nomemreverse" is for?

Guess i just have to upgrade it to 4 mb then :)
