Totally AMOS disk magazine

I have some ADF images from this floppy-based AMOS magazine.

The ones I have are issues 0 (public domain special), 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

I'm wondering whether this would be suitable material for AMR, as despite its age this disk magazine is still under copyright to Len and Ann Tucker.

Hopefully the original copyright holders wouldn't mind it being added to an Amiga archive in 2010 (but if they complain it can be taken down).

There are already some AMOS disks of this type on the Server - Home /Collection/Compilation/Disk/AMOS

Be great if your ADF images could be zoned, then TCD could move them over to this location.

I just uploaded these to the HOL server: ftp://ftp.abime.net/TA.rar (temporary location)
I also uploaded them to The Zone.

I tested all the ADFs with WinUAE and they appear to all work fine.
They also contain a lot of useful non-AMOS content such as sound samples, pictures and music files.

I transferred most of these over from real Amiga floppies last week. ;)

Screenshot from issue 9 (March 1993) - I remember that issue well from my childhood (I was 10 at the time), as well as its music.

All Totally AMOS background music tracks are in AMOS music bank format, which can be converted to standard SoundTracker MOD format with available Amiga software such as Noiseconverter (http://amigamusic.tripod.com/rippers.html). The MOD files can then be used with various modern media players and other software (Irrklang has MOD support)...

Edit: Discussion of the "TA driver" is about the Totally AMOS interface itself as seen in this screenshot, which indeed is rather clumsy to use (but workable) even by early 1993 standards. Nice comments comparing WB1.3 with Mac System 6/7 and MS Windows 3.0! Other discussions comment on TA's "gaudy" colour scheme... :)

btw, all those Amos public domain mentioned in Totally Amos, were from can we get them?

another question: if we, here in this forum, start a kind of Amos contest, for help keeping the Amos scene alive, even starting this year with a deadline at December 31, just like contests like csscgc (this one also on deadline at December 31), pyweek, hsptv, etc., and helping Amos stuff still being developed, how active, exciting and fun will be this? I'm also asking this question on the Stos side ( http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=84&t=23408 ), but i have some faith that something could be done there as well
