I know sometimes that remakes of Amiga modules are done for the C64 SID chip.

These conversions tend to be made as faithfully to the original Amiga module as the SID will allow.

What I wonder is - can you think of any Amiga modules where this process has happened the other way around with an Amiga module being made in a chip tune style and as close to the original SID tune as possible...?

I'm after getting hold of this type of thing if anyone can think of any...?

There are probably hundreds if not thousands of examples of this... check out modules by Estrayk/PDX, Pink/ABYSS, early 4-mat Rob Hubbard conversions... that's just .MOD format stuff, not mentioning the gazillions (approx) of Future Composer and other 'synth' format c64 conversions.

Someone's being lazy - look (or listen?!) first, ask afterwards :)

ROFL! :D

Who said there was a law against being lazy...?

If there was I'd be screwed! :D

EDIT: PS. thanks for the pointers - I'll do some listening :)

If you're looking for C64 conversions, I did a stack load into protracker, loads of Martin Galway and Rob Hubbard as well a some others too.

Search modland for hoffman (without the zero ;) )

They are all there

In fact, if you wanna use anything at all from there, be my guest.
