I'll test the disk version later tonight to make sure it's not just the WHDLoad version, however the game managed to freeze up and display a lot of red junk on the screen last night.

To replicate this, you need to visit the other entrance to Dodgey City after you have recieved the driving license from the shady looking guy, and (I did this accidentaly) try to walk of the edge of the small ledge you are stood on.
Once home, I will post the password I have that is a few seconds away from the glitch.

When you post the password I will give a try and see if I need to fix the slave.

Starts you off in Passport control, take the exit to the right and continue on till you're at Dodgey City.
Thanks!

Main exe file contains six Imploder packed files, and the first one contains a RNC.
It stores ID in D5 and address $F4

I've not looked at the game, but seeing as Del/Anarchy is involved, I would suggest looking in more files for other hidden Copylocks as he did with one of the Dizzy games.

Looks like I picked the right time to start updating my installs. I'm now discovering how extremely lazy I was when writing them. Not testing them all the way through, not patching the blitter issues, etc...
On another issue with one of my installers...maybe Galahad or dlfrsilver would be willing to take a look into something for me. I thought I fixed the issue with Neverending Story II, but as I just recently discovered the issue is still there. The problem is that the game for some reason slows down to a crawl, but pressing a key on the keyboard fixes it. I was thinking something with the keyboard routine, but after re-writing the routine the issue was still there. So, I removed all patches but the loader to see if I could find it. What I discovered when the game slows down is that it is in the code of whdload itself, which I'm not quite sure why as I removed the patches except the load routine and the game isn't loading at the time. Any suggestions...anyone willing to take a look?

I tested it on both supported versions and both fail. I don't have time tonight to look at it, but I will look into fixing it over the weekend.

After doing some testing, I am not convinced that this is a copylock issue as the original disk version produces the same results. I also tried the IPF, which again produced the same results. I wonder if the developer just forgot (ran out of time) to add code to stop Cosmic from going over the edge.
I have put in a fix that allows Cosmic to walk off the edge. It looks like 2 other similar issues may exist and I have also patched them. On top of this I fixed the blitter waits, added infinite lives trainer, and added support for a 2nd fire button to iterate through the commands (same as pressing Z).
I will be playing the game all the way through to make sure it is 100% before releasing the update.
Edit: Just tested the Paradox crack again the same issue.

I just want to finish my testing before I give it out to make sure I don't have any typos in the blitter patching code.
I did discover that when your in DodgeCity; when you meet the guy with the drivers license the game does stop you from going over the edge after acquiring the license. But, after that there is no need to visit the location again, so maybe they never tested it. I'm over half way through the game.
What is your email address? Should I send it to the yahoo account you have listed in your profile under IM?
Edit: I completed the game and will be packaging it up shortly.

Played it for a good while and it seems to play OK. Slight flickering of screen when there's a few enemis at the same time on-screen.

I will look into it. I wasn't aware there was flicker on this game, even without the blitter waits inserted, but again I only have a a1200 w/4 fast and a1200 with an 030, so I don't always see the issues.
