Rules

Post screenshots of your scores in this thread, and write your score underneath. You can enter as many times as you like within the round's time frame.

Select Arcade Mode and three lives from the Options screen.

No cheating of any kind (including score leeching) - this includes save states. No continues/passwords allowed. If you suspect a contestant of cheating then don't post it in public (anyone who does so will have their posts edited or deleted) - please PM me, Biscuit or mihcael and we will investigate it. If we find anyone guilty of cheating then they will be banned for the entire season.

Please only post your score on either the EAB or Lemon forums. If you have already played this year you have to post your score on the same forum for the whole season. If you are new, the one you post on first will be your team for the whole season. However you are welcome to discuss the compo, game etc. on the other forum if you wish.

In an exciting twist, the winner of this round gets to choose a year between 1987 and 1995 for Round 8 after the competition's break, when only games from the chosen year can be voted for.

Remember, anyone can join in at any time. Have fun and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Pully some scores out lately Anakirob, shouldnt you be coding demos or something ;)

My guess hitman would be killing everyone, Sniper for 100% accuracy... maybe? (only played the game once myself!)

Correct. Additionaly, if you obtain time bonus, star bonus and recce bonus you can get hitman bonus and sniper bonus you. After getting all five you will be awarded with another bonus and extra life.

Great game! Was a bit difficult to get it running in my A500-030. The Whdload version kept crashing after finishing the first stage. Runs perfectly from floppies in 68k mode though :great

It happened to me as well only about 10 minutes into the game :( Is there any way around this problem or do i just have to hope that it doesn't keep happening at the start, in the middle or at the end??

Whenever I have a misbehaving WHD slave I use the tooltypes NOCACHE, NOVBRMOVE, etc. and it usually fixes it. But I haven't been having this problem myself so I wouldn't know if that is the case here.

On the first glimpse, this game is just buggy. In my view Team17 was a bit in a rush when they published it. It certainly needed some more thorough tests.

Dunno why you deleted your post John - the World Cup is a good reason for me ;)

Well we used to have two breaks of five weeks when we first started... but a lot of people complained about that (me included - a good idea on paper but in practice it was boring) so we altered the number of rounds, kept the Knockout competition in the same spot it was before and also we didn't want any breaks either side of that; any momentum the competitions have we want to keep going - so the best idea was to have one four week break in the middle, at a time when generally it gets pretty quiet anyway. Nobody moaned when we announced this change at the time ;)

@mihcael - no idea what's going on, what happens when you try to use the normal reply?

I have the disk version and it used to do the same back in the day.

Really enjoyed the game despite these bugs though.

Game completed! Nothing hanged or crashed this time! I could have done much better but having previous issues I didn't risk and didn't explore the last four levels of Midan's Labirynth. I just ran through to the exit.

Beating Midan is actually quite easy, just keep hitting him with the special weapons.
Also, I found that finishing the levels as quickly as possible gives a better score than hunting for every star.

Hmm you're right, something must have gone wrong during serial transfer to Amiga.
I copied it to CF card this time and now it works.

I have no problems (well, almost) with the WHDLoad version, I reached the last world :)
But a jumping enemy was stuck in the background and boom, guru meditation...
