After hacking my PSP to run UAE is there anyway that I can reverse the hack ?

if you feel you need to change the firmware back to orgina standard, you can just download the OFFICAL $ony firmware and update you current PSP.

thats it job done - back to factory spec.

Bare in mind you wont be able to run unsigned code - this means no free emulators or PSX emulation - you will have to pay-for-it-all thans to $sony.

Recently my friend r0jaws and I played Adhoc network 2 player Streets of Rage 2 - bloody fantastic!

infact so much so we didn't stop untill we beat it...

there was Loop Masters 1944 (one of my favourites!) ... oh so many awesome games...

Back in the day, I had to downgrade back to 1.5 before updating to the official firmware. Does this not apply anymore Zetr0?

I dont think so, alas I have no phat here to try (only Slim n' lites PSP2000's) but the last time I changed the firmware for a friend he said that he used to have Dark Alex 5.00 M33 on his Phat (PSP1000) and his girlfriend bought him a game but it needed rev 6.x sony firmware so he just downloaded the sony updater (to PSP/GAME/UPDATE) and installed it.

it got to me as his friend whom performed the Hack was shipped out to some middle eastern country somewhere.


However I must admit that I have no idea why anyone would want to regrade their PSP back to $ony firmware... thats a little crazy...

I love my PSP 2000 with 5.50 GenD it also offeres the latest 6.xx gaming too... if not I wait untill they bring out a newer Custom Firmware.... (that I feel is stable) and then I update - play - and be happy =D

I could never go back to OFW.... ughhh.....

no cannon fodder... no speedball 2..... ughhh... no megalomania.... populus..... turrican 2..... flashback.... secret of mana 2.... chrono trigger.... UFO enemy unknown.... no vandal hearts..... no final fantasy tactics or FFVII..... no Xenogears or Silver Star Story..... rock 'n roll racers.... no loop masters 1944... no final fights... no micro-machines...

And thats not even touhing the surface...

Cool Zeet's, it was such a long time ago now, we're talking 2.60FW lol and using loaders to run ISO's

I think mines on 5.50GenD now as well :cool

Only use it when I go on the plane these days...

its been a long time since i used my (FW1.5) PSP what is the latest unofficial FW for the PSP (its the older model) ?
