Hi guys,
thanks to Toni Wilen, a long-lasting enigma has finally been solved!
The game Eskadra from Poland doesn't work on WinUAE because it's apparently NOT CRACKED!
[edit][SOLVED] it is cracked, but crack is only "activated in special cases" ;) - more details see below! :)

It is possible to obtain oryginal version of the game... but it will cost You 10 USD. I don't think it's worth that but if You really want this I can buy this for You.

YES! :great
Eskadra works from disk now!
I did a lot of emulator testing work today with this game, Toni did a lot of debugging and gave invaluable hints -- well, there was a nice "gimmick" I didn't see first time!
Back 2 The Roots gives you a hint how to make this game work:
Hint (http://www.back2roots.org/Games/Find/?find=eskadra) (No, it's NOT from me this time, in case you ask. :p)
There's a REASON why: the TOSEC version only works from WB, but won't ever work from disk!
Solution: Toni figured out that there are TWO Eskadra "main files" on disk 1!
'eskadra' and 'Eskadra '. (note the space)
'Eskadra ' is a script that launches a *CRACK*, then it launches main executable 'eskadra'. When the game is started from WB, there's always the script launched - that's the simply reason why it never worked from disk! :laughing
Simple, eh? Putting the crack into the startup-sequence makes the game work from disk!
Note for A500 users: Do not use more than one external drive, unless you have PLENTY of memory! "Wasting" too much memory will cause the game to bail out with a Polish (!) error message.
- "patched" version in the zone!

Yeah ... with one problem that stays:
score doesn't go beyond 0000!
So there must be a reason why. :shocked

Files of Eskadra which you may find on PPA are originals. At least I do not have knowlege if they are not (of course I could mixed up the archives but I am 99% sure I didn't). I have original of this game and made a dump of it.

I have original disks! But I have no idea how the SPS system works and how can I preserve them. Some time ago I asked someone to explain this to me and let me know if I can do the ipf files on Amiga but I wasn't able to get information. I have a lot of originals of polish games (Eskadra, W Potrzasku, Liga Polska, Cyber Force - at least these I remember).
