Hi'ya.

Right I've just got my 1200 today Yey!

It's come with TransADF and crossDos and an upziping program.

I've got some games on my pc hard disc.

How will I bring them over to the Amiga?
coz the games won't fit on a pc Low Dence 713 k disc.

Is their a way of spliting the files?

I have also got a serial cable to connect the miggy and pc together, is it easyer to use that?

also I do have 2 disc drives.

HELP! :sad

Please help :confused

Thanks.

You for example can use RAR (WinRAR) to compress the big files using 720KB volumes... On Amiga side then you use unrar utility which can be obtained on aminet, to unpack the files ;) Its quite a convenient way I think.

Write the files on a cd-r and read them with your 1200's cd rom if you have one.

Another alternative is to use a dedicated file splitter/joiner, such as HJSplit by the good folks at Freebyte (http://www.freebyte.com/). This is available for Windows and Amiga, amongst others.

Split file at one end, move bits over on floppies, put back together at other end.
