Hi, I recently became an Amiga 1200 owner, and am interested in what I can do with this machine.
My favourite game at the moment is Syndicate.
I had previously owned 'that other brand' of 16-bit computer, but the higher spec machines are almost impossible to get hold of.
Hope to share my experiences and acquire knowledge through this board.
Regards
Welcome to EAB leehanken :great and welcome to the miggy club :)
Well, the worlds your oyster mate, other than play games, you can do quite a lot of things. Just search around here and I'm sure you'll find loads of things that will entice ideas out of your imagination :)

Welcome to EAB!
Always interesting when we get a completely new Amiga owner join us - it's a lot of fun discovering things even if it can drive you a bit mad sometimes ;)
Hi leehanken and welcome to EAB :)
Discovering the Miggy can be quite fun ;) Leytond can tell you a story about it for sure :D From throwing his A1200 out of the window to playing MP3's on it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BGdIWvvZD4), it all happened here :agree :D You came to the right place and we all hope you enjoy your stay.

Classic. I never knew he made video's of his Miggy 1200. Love the zoom shot of the drive & power lights, amazing :D

Epic even :laughing Well, leytond's story is surely one that can teach us all a lesson ;) Hats off leytond :great
Yep! Good job Leytond, keep those vid's coming, we wanna see more :D
Actually, once he got his head round the way the miggy worked, he didn't do such a bad job. Now, I want to see a vid when things go wrong and he start to curse and threaten every computer related object around him :D That one will surely win the YouTube award of tempers ;)
EDIT: This all has to do with the learning curve of understanding the miggy, so I'm not OT or spamming GH ;)
