I`m trying to get BC kid to work on my CD32 ( with Floppy adaptor )
Disk 1 loads up to a flashing green/blue screen then resets the CD32.

I`ve tried 3 different ADF sets with the same result

Anyone got this to work on a CD32 ?

Cheers !

theres no reason why the DCS version won't work as it works on A1200 with no issues.

The flashing blue/green is the main code file depacking.

Yeah, that`s what I thought, but it doesn`t on my CD32 !

I`m hoping that someone has actually loaded it on a cd32 to prove that it does work and it`s not just something I`m doing ! :confused

The WHDLoad version of BC Kid should work if you burn it to a bootable CD with its own Startup-Sequence. I think it's on one of the available CD32 compilation discs but I'm not sure which one. Try a torrent search for CD32-100, CD32-200, CD32-350, CD32-444 and CD32-888.

Cheers Cammy,

I have those compilations, ( They have never worked properly on my CD32 ) Something I have been meaning to do is work out how to make a bootable WHDload game on my CD32, is there an idiots guide to this anywhere ? - if not I`ll look at the structure of the compilation disks & try to figure it out.

I use MakeCD and the CDTV.TM file (the CD32.TM file doesn't seem to work, but the CDTV.TM file works perfectly). You select a root directory, so make sure that's the one with S/Startup-Sequence in it, choose the CDTV.TM file and make the CD bootable, then you can make an ISO or burn it.

Here's a guide actually, it'll help you more than my vague explaination :p

Good luck!
