Join irc you bastards, it is more OT than OT will ever be. Been kinda boring lately for me and the fellow idlers. We need some new blood to poke fun at.

Duke is posting stale links 24/7 and Genju will correct any grammatical errors you make on the fly. KG will come up with some random crap all the time.

We have girls in there... at least two that I know of... and a third one who is bisexual but I think I offended her and she left...

Its real time amiga chat all the time.

/me is so ronery :crying

Whenever I poke my head through the IRC door there is never anything going on anymore. If there IS ever a chat going it's all about catblizzards and technical honkery.

Not my bag maan.

TheCyberDruid
19 February 2009, 14:12
Right now StingRay and Musashi talk about food... is that better Dastardly? :D

Dastardly
19 February 2009, 15:12

TheCyberDruid
19 February 2009, 15:14

You fecktard, you've gone into the wrong channel.

Wow there's a forum for #abime.net? I had no idea.. I could have been idling in here, too!

TheCyberDruid
04 June 2009, 08:00
Is irc.abime.net down and thus causing huge slowdowns on EAB? I checked it here : http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/irc.abime.net and they tell me it's not just me ;) Anything knows what's going on?

Shoonay
04 June 2009, 08:06
Dunno 'bout IRC, but EAB is SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWW now :(

TheCyberDruid
04 June 2009, 08:08
First of all good (or bad in this case :() that I'm not the only one. I found a fix Shoonay :) Block 'http://irc.abime.net/*' with AbBlock Plus and woooosh EAB is fast again :D Well it's only a temp fix till it's working again.

Shoonay
04 June 2009, 08:12
Wowzerz! It works, thanks :)
Thank god for Firefox! :bowdown

TheCyberDruid
04 June 2009, 08:14
Guess we're the only two that surf with normal speed now (well of course everybody else who blocked the IRC window too) ;)

Shoonay
04 June 2009, 08:17
LOL ;)
Maybe RCK should re-write the IRC check code a bit ;)
Something like:

If found IRC
Check stats
Else
Load EAB
;)

TheCyberDruid
04 June 2009, 08:32
Guess he just needs to adjust the time-out ;) Maybe a reduction to 5 secs instead of 60 would make a big difference :D

I just tried to advise a simple solution for you GH, but setting "http://irc.abime.net/*" in IE under: Internet Options > Privacy > Sites blocks the whole abime.net, lol :/

No problem mate :D Hope some more people will see this and that eLowar or RCK gets the IRC channel problem sorted soon, because... well... it sucks big time ;)

My current ABP stats show 6957 blocks against that address. :)

TheCyberDruid
04 June 2009, 21:02
Wow! Should we tell them that it's back to normal again and that they can remove the block now? ;)
