Hrm the game would have to be "Last Duel" its one of the worst shootemups ever made and I finished it when I first put it into my amiga, that was about 1992 when I baught the Capcom collection, a brilliant pack was well worth the money for 8 games. Well 7 games as Lastduel I only ever played 2 or 3 times. But with L.E.D.Storm, Strider 1&2, Forgotten Worlds, UNSquadron, and a couple more I forget the names of.

Anyway ledstorm could have been kewl but sadly wasnt.

although it was a good game, i found Defender of the Crown really easy to complete.

I agree here :) The Amiga Version is the easiest and every time I start this game I win :laughing But I cannot stop playing ;)

BeachVolley was a game not too challenging.

Oi Djay you damn thread idea thief!!!! ;)
I know a lot of people find these games hard but I found Gods and Chaos Engine quite easy (not very, just quite) although it might just be that I was addicted to these games and it wouldve been a bit pathetic if Id NEVER completed them.

Mortal Kombat was the easiest game I had I think - I downloaded it a few days ago and completed it without losing a fight (haven't lost the touch :cool ;) )

Superfrog was a bit easy too, probably because I'd played all the demos to death before I got hold of the release.

Anyone remember the adventure game "Loom"? No? Well, it's hard to remember because it didn't last much more than an hour....

Hey, cool topic :)
Always looking for some easy to complete games to increase my 'finished games' list :) ( especially since I am getting more and more lazy when playing games, so I need easy ones ;) )

I found Powerdrift, Atax, Ooops Up, Mega Phoenix, Dragon Breed, Sooty & Sweep, Sturmtruppen, Yo-Joe, Final Blow, Franko Crazy Revenge and Ski-Run rather easy games.
Very hard to say which one was the easiest among them all, but I think I finished Sturmtruppen & Sooty & Sweep on the first or second go.

i think that if you enjoy a game, you'll play so much your bound to complete it

i might start a new thread called "Game Complete"... the purpose of this thread would be that when you complete an Amiga game you attach a screengrab, the first person to attach a pic of the ending sequence is the "Master" of that game, any pics that follow of the same game are void.

a "Game Complete Competition" if you will?

your thoughts?

I do... It was pretty easy, but I found the story and atmosphere really captivating. I played it a lot, just to relive the feeling. Underestimated LucasArts adventure this one.

i might start a new thread called "Game INcomplete"... the purpose of this thread would be that when you don't complete an Amiga game you attach a screengrab, the first person to attach a pic nearest the ending sequence is the "Master" of that game, any pics that follow of the same game are valid.

a "Game INcomplete Competition" if you will?

The above is my idea for the hardest games thread LOL :p :laugh

I remember posting a message to this thread, very strange :confused

I said (or I was going to say) I were agreeing with Djay about Defender of the Crown.

Yo! Joe was very easy as well because there were just too many extra lives around. I also completed Super Frog easily and ranked as "Frog God"

Djay
11 April 2002, 23:56
when you don't complete an Amiga game you attach a screengrab
i'm sure that would use a lot of RCK server space!

but hey, a keen idea LOL

Getting back to the topic .. :)

The 2 easier games I ever played in my life are McDonald's Treasure Land in Mega-Drive and Star Fox 64 in N64 .. as far as I remember, those are the 2 only games I finished in my 1st go (And I had never played the SNES version of Star Fox)

On Amiga side, Lemme see ..

T2: The Arcade Game, I finished pretty quickly ..
Burning Rubber was an underrated racing game, which only real bad point is the low difficult level...

Nitro I remember I finished in my 3rd go ..

Yo Joe was really easy too, but mainly because of infinite continues and many extra-lifes

Joe & Mac was really easy too..

Shatterhand:

I've got StarWing on the SNES and it was easy to complete on the default difficulty level. I think like so many Nintendo titles it was aimed at kiddies.

Hard mode was more challenging, but still a bit too easy.

Well, I got until there where the T-1000 is running in front of the liquid oxygene truck, but it was impossible for me to cool him down because he always esacaped and the holes in the truck closed too fast !

Joe & Mac was really easy too..

In Joe & Mac I could never beat that endboss where lots of fish is jumpin out of the water. Never had any chance there ! I just bumped from one to another until all energy was gone...
I am getting really mad when I even think of this unfair part in that shitgame :mad

Any hints on these two ?

Turbo Outrun on the C64 was the quickest game I ever finished. I'm sure the day I bought it I played maybe 6 games and finished the game. I still played it for a few weeks more after that because it had fantastic music (by the Maniacs of Noise??). Probe did the conversion, which should have given me a clue that I wasn't going to get a huge amount of mileage out of the game.

Hmmm .. it was years ago the last time I played T2 and Joe & Mac..

The One said Joe & Mac was at the same time very easy and very hard, because the levels were really easy, and many times you could keeping bouncing in the enemies 'till your energy went out.

With T2.. well, if I remember correctly, it's just a matter of blasting the truck, and then shoot T-1000 ... can't really remember too much ..

I never got past 2nd level in Turbo outruin. (2nd level being all x checkpoints in each)

@Djay:

Did you really finish Rise of the Robots ? You have to play it on the 'hard' level, because on 'easy' and 'medium' the game just restarts after the 6th opponent. ( on a higher level, then )

So for completing the game completely you need to play it on the hard level where another, final opponent will appear after the 6th.

But I never managed to kill the 5th opponent on hard level, as far as I can remember.
So I am surprised you find it is just a task of keeping the firebutton pressed, because that only worked for me at easy level, if at all....

@Shatterhand:

As far as I can remember I had to shoot holes into the truck exactly at the position where the T-1000 stood, so that the liquid oxygene can pour over the T-1000 and cool him down until his energy is zero. But my problem was that the holes closed faster than I could shoot new ones, and the T-1000 constantly moved so I couldn't cool him down enough.

I think I will give it another go soon...

you might of had to push up as well to jump, my memory isn't that great, maybe i'll test it out!!!

Maybe you're right about T2.. I don't remember much of it really..

About Rise of the Robots.. what a pathetic game it's ... I played only the Mega-Drive version, I finished it pretty quickly even in hard level..

When the Amiga version was around here, I obivosuly skipped it (and it was like 12 disks or something like that... )

This might just be me, but I played Turrican 3 for the first time yesterday, and I'd completed it after 20 minutes... Admittedly this was on the easy level - are there more levels on normal difficulty?

(The only reason I played on easy difficulty was because I had played Turrican 2 immediately before, and that was brick hard).

Drake1009
16 April 2002, 13:08
I never completed Turrican 3. I played a good bit of way, then it crashed for me but I had a feeling I was almost at the end. Thought it was a bit boring compared to the previous games.

Shatterhand
17 April 2002, 05:08
I am nearly sure that Turrican 3 has less levels in easy level..

Indeed, Turrican 3 is easy even in normal level, much easier that the 2 prequels...

But still is a GREAT game...

Naughty Ones by Melon Dezign. Groovy little game - but just a bit too little. Only about five sections to go through. Didn't time myself, but it didn't take very long.

If you have never played it, I commend you to do so. Lovely platform game. Two players can simultaneously wreck shop, for one thing.
