I just upgraded - via winUAE - to a Picasso96 environment and it seems all my MagicWB icon's colours are off the mark. They show only in black & white, although the WB colour settings are still the same, and I use the same depth (32 colours) as before. Anyone knows how I can fix this?

Update: Hmm, it seems DOpus displays them correctly. Bizarre. I set DOpus to use 8 colours, but doing this on WB doesn't help.
Also, how can I prevent some applications from opening in another (640x256) screen? It seems AmigaGuide wants to open in its own screen all the time.

Not sure about the icon colours problem - bit of a dodgy area, too technical for me. But I do know that there are many (free) tools to allocate, lock, fix etc. palette pens used in the rendering of icons. One is FixMWB, available on Aminet: http://uk.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?FixMWB

MultiView I think I may be able to assist on. Apologies if all this is obvious, but here goes. The screen MultiView opens on is determined via the icon's Tooltypes. .

I prefer it to just open in a window on my WB screen, so I leave the appropriate tooltypes to their default settings, i.e. (SCREEN); (PUBSCREEN=). Bracketed tooltype = not activated.

This applies to many other OS-compliant apps/tools. And some that do not allow screen selection via either tooltypes or Prefs can be promoted via third party software. One mode promotion utility is [I]ModePro:http://uk.aminet.net/aminetbin/find?ModePro

Hope de cornflake has helped!
