Hi,
I've been having the follwoing problems for (too) many years:
1 The green component of the tenth color register almays set to max, causing colors to be displayed wrong.
2 The mouse pointer affects ham screens by changing ham palette colors.
3 The disk drive rattles and misbehaves after using the disk drive, including 'reading' from the drive during booting. This effect stops occuring after a while.
This is not caused by any patches/software, because it also happens when booting without a startup-sequence.
It's probably some mallware issue, because the described green bug doesent seem to happen if I turn off the system interrupts with a test program that writes all the different colors to screen. In other words, it seems possible to turn all this stuff off.
None of these effects were happening when I baught the Amiga.
Specs: A1200/KS3.0 Blizzard IV '30/no fpu/16 mb ram HD/CDRW
If anyone can help, it's greatly appreciated :great
