I'm running E-UAE in Linux, and have finished setting up a clean
Workbench 3.1 install inside a folder on the Linux filesystem. I
have also downloaded and installed Killergorilla's game packs
(thanks, KG!), and registered WHDLoad.
I find that browsing through the game folders (a-z) is rather slow -
first it takes a few seconds to get the listing of games within a
folder, and then another few seconds whenever I use the scrollbar
to get further down the list of games within.
What I'm looking for is an Amiga side tool to let me launch a
particular game as quickly and with as little fuzz as possible.
Ideally it would let me enter a search string and then give me
a list of matching games/apps and let me launch it by clicking
the name in the list.
Does something like this exist? If not, any other suggestions on
how to speed up the process?
