Hi there!
I own an Escom-produced A1200 and want to modify it for 100% Amiga drive compatibility. I was told in another thread to get the information here, but now I'm stuck because I'm not entirely sure on how to read these docs:
http://www.softpres.org/article:hard:fixing_the_amiga_technologies_a1200_fdd_connector
http://www.softpres.org/article:hard:modifying_the_pansonic_ju-257a605p_fdd
I have attached a photo of my drive's circuit board. The exact model no. is JU-257A515P. I am now trying to figure out what to do exactly because I don't want to mess up anything. I have attached a 2nd picture to illustrate how I understood it. I'm not really sure though. Especially not about how to solder that short cable on R52 and which conductive strip to cut.
Help! :(
