The boing sticker is a bit tilted. The case deserves a good bath in peroxide.
Anyway, a neat A1000!:great

She has 512K with the front expansion and on the sidebus she has 2 MB fast ram, 4 MB once I put in the other StarBoard when I find it in my basement.
@rkauer
Ya the sticker needs to be reapplied but I never get around to it for some reason. I'll have to have it completely naked before the peroxide oatmeal bath;)
EDIT: I have no idea when I plan on performing the open heart surgery, I'm so busy with work and beta testing the emulators for the Wii that I haven't had much time for my miggy. She's been kinda lonely these past few weeks. I might fire her up tonight and play Loom.
Zetr0, be prepared for a plethora of hardware porn once I open her up, there's a lot of history inside the A1000. We need to talk more about the laptop power supply idea that you brought up a while back.
@Boing_1000
I look forward to it my friend :D

@Zetr0
You've broken the 6K post barrier!? Whooo that's a big accomplishment. What would the EAB do without your wisdom?:p
@alphonsus
Thanks dood!

What sort of adapter is that, if I might ask? Not sure whether I'd want to mod my A1000 or not to add one, but one never knows unless one knows what options are available.

@Chuckles
Yes it's an IDE adapter;)
If you want to mod your 1000, just be careful. As Wedge Antilles said in Return of the Jedi when they're flying into the second Death Star, "you run out of space real fast."
you got the 3.1 rom adapter too ?

There's a guy on eBay who's been selling A1000 Kickstart ROM adapters consistently for the past couple weeks. I think he has a magic hat and keeps pulling them out. I've toyed with the idea of getting one but not sure autobooting is a priority for me. What do you guys think?
