Thanks to Psygore, Wepl, Codetapper, Girv, JOTD and all the others for preserving the invaluable Amiga games collections, which are bound to be forgotten by the younger generation.
AmigaOS, WinUAE, Gamebase Amiga/whdload : the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost !
Wish there was a few more active patchers, though...

That's good news, I wish I'd be one of them :( . Unfortunately, I can't even get myself to follow the first paragraphs of Feary Tale Adventure walkthrough :sleep .
By the way, what about having a patcher doing fixes full-time for slaves that weren't updated for some time (that nobody seem to care about) :spin ?
Having an uninstallable whdload is the same as not having it at all, but with the disadvantage that some people hope for being able to play it some day; And when the author seems to have given up...
Note that I am aware that picking up a task where someone else has left it can be unpleasant, at times.

Wepl takes care of them. His "to do" list is probably very long, and he's mostly busy. ;)

if you can get hold of the sources, (Wepl has many more than his own) or if you are willing to undertake a re-sourcing without feeling like you are stepping on someones toes, there's no reason any active slave author cant continue someone elses work.... it all comes down to how willing the original author is/was in sharing his work with others, and how interested a 3rd party is in doing the update that is required!
