Hello Amigans,
I discovered a good repository of pre-installed WHDLoads : the whole
pack is 3.05 GB but they are divided for letters.
I have tried some of these .zip games into WinUAE with HD puntting
them in the virtual DF0: of WinUAE but I cannot see any icon to install
any games.
While you enjoy this site : http://kgwhd.whdownload.com/
can you tell me how to install games?
Many Thanks
:help

can you tell me how to install games?hello there, fellow PC user ;)
there's no such thing as installing anything on the Amiga, it's all about copying a number of files to the right place.
In case of WHDLoad games, all you have to do is... unpack and double-click on the game's icon.
there.
play. :)

It's times like these when I wish Workbench was freely available, then you'd actually be able to help people without it being so much hassle!
Right...
Firstly you'll need Workbench installed. A great guide on this can be found on: http://guide.abime.net/home3.htm
You may also wish to check out ClassicWB http://classicwb.abime.net/ which offers a simple WB, while containing pretty much any program you'll ever need to use in workbench.
Once you have either of these options setup, it's just a matter of either unpacking the games to a folder or mounting them as an drive in WinUAE individually (hd tab or drag and drop).
You'll also need WHDLoad 'installed' which you can grab from: http://whdload.de/whdload/WHDLoad_usr.lha
You could of course also use Gamebase Amiga - http://gbamiga.elowar.com/ :)

they are both under the wings of the same two persons...
so they should have roughly the same stuff, whdload installed games by KillerGorilla based on the SPS "collection" of games, where available, and the odd not SPS one.
KillerGorilla makes his installs available on update batches periodically to be added to his alphabetical stashes.
Killergorilla site is hosted by Magix, who is also the author and mantainer of the other site and offers the same games in single downloads.
there could be differences (i have not checked lately)
please the two authors could correct me if need be

No need to correct you mate :)
They contain almost identical stuff, Magix just needs to add the latest pack but unfortunately he's very busy at the moment.
