I've installed the standard UAE package for Ubuntu (version 0.8.25-6ubuntu1). It works fine, but I can't center the image in the UAE windows as you can see here:
[REMOVED IMAGE --- NO LONGER NEEDED :) ]

I edited the .uaerc file and setted:

gfx_framerate=1
gfx_width=800
gfx_height=600
gfx_lores=false
gfx_linemode=double
gfx_correct_aspect=true
gfx_fullscreen_amiga=false
gfx_fullscreen_picasso=false
gfx_center_horizontal=true
gfx_center_vertical=true
gfx_colour_mode=32bit
immediate_blits=false
ntsc=false
show_leds=true

Why image is still not centered?
Thank you for any help :)

try with 640x480

640x480 works fine, the Amiga screen fits the windows perfectly :great
Thank you :)

EDIT: 640x512 with no leds work better. I even set "correct aspect" to false :)

Hi!

Is there any way of getting the picture stretched so it'd fill the whole of my screen? I've also tried various resolutions and noticed the centering problem. Is there any news on fix on that? I'm using e-uae_0.8.29-WIP4_linux-i586_sdl-alsa.

Thanks!

Unfortunately E-UAE does not implement screen scaling yet, according to the readme file it is planned. The best you can do currently is to use a screen mode that is close enough to what you want or add a custom modeline to your xorg.conf file.

So, I'm pretty much stuck with the 640x480 screen mode then? :(
