Now then, so far in the basket I have the SCSI to IDE convertor I'll need for the CF/flash thingy.

So which SD card and SD slot thing would be best matched to the above?

I was thinking 1gb would be plentiful as I have now, just want something a bit quieter/faster :D

I've never seen anyone do this with the A530 or the HD8+ as yet so it could be a first :xmas

I've got a SCSI->IDE adapter, an 40-pin IDE->CF adapter, CF card and a GURU ROM in my GVP Impact Series II HD8+

It's stored somewhere in it's box somewhere in the front room since I got a CD32

Cool :D So will any old IDE>CF adapter be okay? I'll have a scour on the A1200 CF thread and see what others are buying if that's the case :D

It would.. Different CF cards may have different compatibility with the SCSIDE adapter, though.

Someone in a german Amiga board has a CF card adapter in his A530.
