Hello there my Forum Chummies.

currently have a few projects on the go, but recenetly i have been offered (for a good price) what i believe to be a compatible replacement.

from this i would like a second opinion if at all possible.

the component to replace is an AD8073 tri-line operational amplifier.

and here is the replacement

LMH6609 - http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/55870.pdf

a friend has offered me a few on a cheap basis i am wondering if i could use these 900mhz voltage feedback op amp instead of AD8073

Not easy to compare... the AD8073 can operate on Single 5 V to 12 V Supply...
it looks like the LMH6609 need symetric +- Voltage.
It depends on your Application.

@Kelv

Hello there,

Welcome to the EAB, Theres plenty of mischief to get up to round here, so kick back and enjoy the sugar coated yummyness of retro-dom that this fair board provides :D

I have already emailed farnell, however they do at times take an age to answer queries and being a weekend, chances of receiving and answer even more diminished. but i did email none the less :)

we shall see :)
