View Full Version : EAB/Lemon Super League 2008: Round 1 Game Vote

Here we go then - it's time for the first vote of the season.
You can find the full rules here (http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=33736), but briefly:
- The voting for Round 1 starts now and will end at 11:59pm UK time on Saturday, January 19. Round 1 will start on Sunday, January 20.
- Vote for 5 games.
- Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. If you don't, then you will get the treat of a PM from me, asking you to change your vote. If you still don't change it your vote will be discounted.
- Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4pts, third 3pts, fourth 2pts, fifth 1pt.
- Edited votes will de discounted (unless you are told to edit it, and even then you can only edit the game(s) that aren't suitable) - so think before you post.
- Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. You can only vote once, and also it could cause confusion if you post your vote on both boards - it's easy for it to be counted twice by accident.
- If you want to see what the Lemon lot are voting for then click here (http://www.lemonamiga.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4734).
Bugged Games:
Lotus 2: The different online versions all have different scoring systems. If Lotus 2 is played everyone must use a special version that will be provided by this board, in WHDload and ADF format. (UAE requires A1200 setup, High-Density floppy drive, 4MB Fast RAM)
Pinball Fantasies Stones and Bones Table - Bugged (random crashing, infinite balls, messed up scores). This table will be excluded - you can still vote for Pinball Fantasies, but we will only play the other 3 tables.
Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence...

Graham, you forgot the one I asked: you can't vote on EAB and on Lemon during the same round. You are allowed to vote either here or there. Votes will not be counted twice. I don't think there are many players who are here and there but it should be mentioned to sort out any confusions (like mine ;)

I vote that the title be renamed to the EAB/Lemon Super League. As for voting for the games, I'm going to think about it a bit more..

That's exactly what I thought when reading the thread. EAB has to be listed first :)

Well done HH, you've reminded me to put the "bugged games" list in the original post (it's listed in the rules anyway, but who actually bothers to read the rules) :D

Right, one week left for the voting so still time to influence what game gets played in the first round. One game in particular has the advantage currently but it can still all change...

EAB mainly... the last vote we had on here was the 10th and the last one on Lemon the 16th. Also there are 11 Lemon voters to EAB's 8...

That's the best post ever to appear on a voting thread, I'm tempted to give you 10 bonus points here and now :lol

Right, that's that, and the results are...
1. Super Stardust - 25
2. Lotus - 19
3. Pang - 17
4. P.P Hammer - 14
5. Klax - 12
There were 60 games voted for in total (I won't list them all here, it'll take forever), but Super Stardust comes out on top and the game thread (as well as the second round vote thread) will follow soon...
