View Full Version : Felix (Don't you want me)

Back in 1992 a British house-artist called Felix (who was actually Rollo from music-formation Faithless) scored a hit with a song called ‘Don’t you want me’. In this song a female voice is constantly singing the text ‘Don’t you want me, don’t you want my love’.
On the Amiga the video of this song was faithfully converted in a one-disc demo. It is exactly like the video with all the graphics and music appearing in it.
I have trouble finding this demo (which is simply called ‘Felix’ if I remember correctly) on the Internet. Does this demo ring a bell and/or does anyone know where I can find it?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, this demo certainly rings a bell, because it's one of my favourites. I still have it on a disk somewhere. I'll try to find it on the net, if it isn't on the net then I'll adf the disk for ya...

If you can dig that demo up I would be very, very grateful. :)

He Tim, I saw that my bro promised you the Felix Don't You Want Me demo... I actually don't know if you have it already...
Anyway, you can download the adf here:

Have fun...

To get round this in IE, just right click on the link and left click 'save target as...'

Yes, you're right Paul or when you are using a download manager it will work also...

@Mr Dig: thanks for pointing me to the Felix-demo at your site. Although this demo is very remiscent to the one I remember, it is not the right one. :(
The Felix-demo I have in mind has some (digitised?) stills from the video. I am confident it features a black ‘n’ white animation of a robotic leg which is stomping on some ground. Also, the female voice in the demo is singing the text: ‘Don’t you want me - don’t you want me - don’t you want my love’. which is also partly missing in the demo.
Some additional information: a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine contacted me by mail and he claims he still has a Felix-demo on floppy. Let’s hope it is the right one…
@Riempie: Have you had any luck finding the ‘right’ Felix-demo on the Net?

Hmmm, old thread that I just came across :cheese
"Felix - Don't You Want (Deconstruction Records)" is one of the first house tracks I ever heard. I have this on 12" ;)
Never knew there was an Amiga demo... Anybody have this (and if so could you please upload to The Zone!)?

Not a demo, but a Protracker mod. When it is the correct song, i don't hear such a crap. ;)

I don't need any mod, like I said above I have the original 12" vinyl... Classic ;)
I want the demo if it exists :agree

There is no proper way to hear this shitty Eurodance properly. I prefer AC/DC, when we are talking about hearing loud music. ;)
