Hello
I'm clearing out my loft and I have a very large amount of magazines covering computers, consoles, etc http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x38/Scottola/PDR_0135.jpg
I'd like the Amiga ones to go to a good home if possible. There is a very large pile of Amiga Format, One Amiga, Amiga Action, Amiga Computing, CU Amiga and others. There's quite a lot of CD cover mounts too.
I would love to say I could scan them all in, etc and look for missing pages on the site, but I would not have the time.
Would the community be interested in them? It would mean collecting them from me, if any one was interested.

Damn, why are all the good magazine collections in the UK...
We'd be interested, but it would probably be too expensive to get them transported out here

I'm really sorry, I didn't realise you were based in Australia, I just assumed it was a UK site!
Maybe an active UK member might be interested?

That's ok.....we assumed Herne Bay was in the UK too :) Very generous offer, just wish you were in the southern hemisphere! Postage from the UK to Australia/NZ would be a killer for all the mags, even using a cheap courier like Parcel2Go.com. Have you got any sort of list for your mags?

I had no idea where Herne Bay was in the UK. Google tells me it's in Kent. Now I'm really depressed! I had an Aussie mate living in Kent until recently. He returned to Australia a few months ago to live for good. Bah!

Herne Bay, Kent, UK!
I don't have a list, but I do have a lot of mags. It would be nice to make you guys a list, but in the photo, the shelf that the mags are on are at th top of my house and I need a ladder to get up there. So it's not as easy as scooting up and having a look through I'm afraid, as I'd have to heave everything up and down just to look. It's a job for when my family are out and about!
There's the more Amiga Format, CU Amiga, One (for Amiga!), with a regular dose of Amiga Action and Amiga Computing.
There's also loads of C&VG, Zero, The Games Machine, Raze, Ace and New Computer Express (A weekly Future Publishing title), but all these magazines I need to sort and decide which I'm keeping.
I was really into my Amiga (still got the 1200 with HDD up there too)

If nothing else, Mort would probably like any that he doesn't have, and he might even scan the whole mag at the same time. It would be nice if you could look through the site and see what you have that we are missing - we have lots of gaps in mags like Amiga Action for example. And we would dearly like to fill them!
