Hello all! Tis about time for my first post here! ;^)

I recently downloaded onEscapee as an iso, named :
OnEscapee T01 Mode1 2352.iso

Problem is, i cant burn it to a disk, as all my CDR progs (cdrWin, clone and win on cd) wont accept it.
So any idea how i`d use it??

i dont mind playing it on an emu, but i have an A1200 040/40 with 18Mb and CD drive which i`d far prefer to play it on! ;^)

Any ideas?

At the risk of sounding like a broken record;)

Try the Blindwrite Suite (http://www.blindwrite.com) I find it to be the best:)

Oh yeah, welcome to the EAB, may you stay be a pleasant one:D

No problem:cheese

If you can't get it to work (and the iso is small, damn my 56k modem;)) post the url for where you got it from and I'll investigate it further for you.

Worked like a charm! ;^) Thankyou!

The iso is 194Mb (all data! no the game has no CD music)
and i got it from xxxxxx

Awesome game! well worth getting!
Also gotta say...the intro is madness!!! About 5 mins long!
Also the disk appears to have a demo of "Foundation" on it....whatever that is! i shall investigate later!

Thanks again! ;^)

Forgot to mention, i`m on 56k too.. :^\

1. This game is considered warez, so you should'nt be mentioning you have an ISO of it

2. Name of provider deleted so he doesn't get too many requests (unless he wants this?)

Great, now everyone will pm Pulsecode and ask him where he got the iso so it'll get incredibly tedious for everyone heh anyway we gotta act legal even though we have a warez trading "zone" and lots of other links to other CD32 isos on other existing threads.:sleep

I don't want to see the board force to be shut down cause of stupid Warez, we are better than that :cool

:o Oops! :o
Sorry sorry!! didnt realize it was classed as warez :^\
Yes, i just read through 3 PM`s and an E-mail asking for it....~sigh~

Well, err, lets just forget i mentioned it!!

And let this thread be instead a notice that BlindWrite is indeed the mutts nuts!

Sorry again folks!

Oh! urr.. RCK, Amigaboy... could you perhaps PM me or something and explain what age etc denotes a warez amiga game...? Just so i dont do this again by accident!! :^\
I feel bloody silly now... :crying

I would say that anything from 1998 onwards could be considered warez...

I know it may seem to be hypocritical to consider anything before as 'okay' and stuff afterwards as not. Indeed, the law sees no difference in pirating a 1988 game and a 1998 game.

For me the difference is that the newer games are more likely to be still sold.

I wouldn`t say it was hypocritical at all! It is infact a very fair argument! ~sigh~ I`ve been out of circulation in the Amiga scene for such a long time now i really didnt think about the age of the game, or indeed the possibility of it being still sold ( i checked the Invictus site, it says it IS still being sold, but there is no shop or details where to get it...)

Right-o! i shall bare this in mind in future!

Again, sorry all for being a daft sod! :^\
I`ll try not to let it happen again!

// Amigaboy says : If it's still sold, don't request it. If it isn't being sold, enquire about it before making a request.

I know you didn't request this Pulsecode, but I'd like to make it clear to everyone else.

As of now, I will delete warez requests (I've not passed this by RCK, but I'll do it anyway for the sake of this board). In case you're wondering, this post is not a warez request. It is a query

Bah. there's no logic in this pseudomoralist idea of good old appz and new bad warez. What's the criteria? Law? Which country's law? Or maybe you care about the programmer's profit. Then can you say the makers all the old appz that reside on your HD do know and approve your owning them this way? No. We discuss warez but cannot lead anyone to it!Anyway it's your board. Play it the way you like. I'm not targeting anyone just making a general statement against double standards.
