trouble with UAE

Whenever i play Pang or shuttlepuck Cafe on UAE, the character/paddle goes to the left without my control and when i play It Came From the Desert 1 & 2 the screen continues to flicker and the pointer goes to the left. Can someone tell me why this happens??

Are you using a joystick or controller on your PC? One of the caveats of analogue sticks...

Yep, sounds like a miscalibrated analogue joystick. You should get one of those "PC Competitor Pro" Amiga-to-PC joystick adapters maybe, so you can use a *real* (ie. 8-way) joystick. I'm thinking about getting one myself...
