WHDLoad and Maprom

Hi,

i'm using the maprom feature of my blizzard 1230 mk iv in an amiga 1200 to load kickstart 3.1. this works fine, but many whdload games do not work. might this be the cause of it?

What do you mean by "don't work"? Error messages? Crash? Guru?

well, most games simply just don't start, black screen. most of the games which actually run fine can't be ended, when i press F10 or whatever key is assigned to quit the game, i only get a messy flickering screen or a black screen.

system configuration:

A1200 (Commodore), KS 3.0, OS 3.9, Blizzard 1230 Mk IV (68030-50) without FPU, RandyRom IDE 4x Adapter, 10 GB HD, CDRom, PCMCIA Ethernet (yes i tried it with and without Genesis running)

Name some of the games that exhibit this behaviour and where you sourced your installs from (ie. are you using cracked disk images or originals). My config is very similar to yours yet I have none of these problems.

Thanks everyone, i solved the problem by using another hd and installing classicwb... now everything runs just fine using os/kick 3.0
