Edit by eLowar: This thread was split from the News thread about the GameBase Amiga v1.4 release. [end of edit]

Some of the WHDload games work, but other games like Xenon complain that dev:kickstarts/kick34005.a500 is missing.
In my WHD\Devs\Kickstarts I have kick34005.a500.pat and kick34005.a500.rtb. What else do I need?

you need the actual kickstart files themselves, so in the above instance, take your kickstart 1.3 which you use for winuae, copy it to the WHD\Devs\Kickstarts dir, make sure its unzipped and rename it to kick34005.a500.

<GameBase directory>\GameBase Amiga\WHD\Devs\Kickstarts\

Where <GameBase directory> is probably something along the lines of C:\Program Files\GameBase\ or wherever you installed GameBase.

I'm using WinUAE instead of Gamebase. Where would it be in this case?

On your Amiga HD in devs/kickstarts.

I did this and it looked like it was working, but then suddenly stopped before I could see Flashback in all its Amiga glory :(

I had the error message

This disk requires Kickstart version 2.0 or greater ???

I assume you got that message when running the floppy version?

I use "winuae loader"

You might want to ask headkaze on arcadecontrols about that : http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=76077.0
The message means that the config that you use has KS 1.x set, but the disk requires KS 2+. Not sure how WinUAE Loader handles its configs.
