Seems like I can't download the PPC codecs anymore from the MooVid website and the aujthor doesn't respond to emails...I guess the MooVid project is probably dead since some years :(

Anyone have these codecs and can share them?

I'm only aware of the 3ivx MPEG-4 and OpenDivX codecs for MooVid PPC.

They can be downloaded from the websites below:

Do you know of any other PPC codecs for MooVid?

I have a registered version of MooVID 1.0 but couldn`t find any update version 1.3 on the websites. Could someone upload the updates from 1.0 to 1.3 please? That would be great. Thank you.

Is there a way to update from version 1.0 to the actual version 1.6? I could only find updates from 1.3 and 1.5. I have purchased the CD at a fair some years before and missed to update to an actual version. Version 1.0 is 68k only and now I own a ppc and can`t use the effords of such a processor. ;O(

The MooVid support site history seems to indicate that no patches from 1.0 to 1.2/1.3 were ever made publically available:

Looking at the MooVid 1.2 docs, it seems that the author required registered users of V1.0 (68K only) to register again for V1.2+ (68K + PPC) due to the addition of PPC support.

I would upload V1.6, but it looks like you can still register using the reg.net (http://www.reg.net/authors.asp?AuthorID=3759) link on the MooVid support site.

It feels like if I register the cash will be sent to a black hole since the author is long gone and doesn't respond to emails or maybe the contact adress was dead..can't remember because it was a couple of years I tried to contact him :(
