Hi all,

CU Amiga printed a schematic for how to build a midi interface for your amiga, I do believe this was around 1992/1993. If anyone has this, as an avid keyboard player and electronics fan, I would love to have a go at recreating it.

Does anyone else know what I mean?

ahhh wicked thanks man :) Though the one I was looking for was a midi interface

If I recall it was on a 20x20 strip of vero board from a much earlier issue, I did use it as the backbone of my GCSE electronics project but thats going back years now.

Between 1993-1994

My twin brother was into MIDI big time (Korg X5 and later Yamaha CS1x + A1200). Here's a list of programs he used:

MidiTracker (his favorite)
Comouflage
Bars'n'Pipes

Check aminet's mus/midi section.

Too bad the interface doesn't implement THROUGH together with IN and OUT.

The coverdisks are online, or does the article reference a code listing from the mag (haven't the time to check at the moment)

Hi, guys, just signed up here and noticed this thread.

Aminet was always a good place - have a look at these:

A SAVE TriplePlay MIDI-Interface for Bars&Pipes
http://aminet.net/docs/hard/TP3.1.lha

And to download the latest BarsNpipes sequencer

Good luck. ;-)
