Im gonna have a bash with the manual if i can get it.
I had a look at th post on amiga.org and have yet to try a few suggestions.

Well if I get in my other home I could take a look at the manual (when I find it in this pile of garbage in my cellar). I got the Surf Squirrel with SCSI. As I remenber you need to install the squirrelscsi.device (name maybe false!). After that OS3.5 CDFS finds it. But it's some years ago that I put it on.

So if you could wait a bit I try my best to support you.

I recall that when I originally installed my squirrell interface there was a readme file that stated that there was a bug in the install and to use 'expert user' only.

I am wondering, does it matter what type of disc you use in the drive?
The ones i have are CDTV PD cd's.
I think i remember reading somewhere about book type or rockridge or something? is it possible the CDTV disks are unreadable by OS 3.1 on an A600?
I can try to burn a disc, but im not sure what book type to use?

If I burn a CD with Nero I use ISO 9660:1999 and nothing else tagged. ATM it works like a charm.

Now to the manual. The Original is about 46 MB. I sized it down to 4.4 MB. Hope that it will be good enough. you can find it in the Zone. Later I will ask Amiga resource and Amiga Hardware if they want it on their site. Maybe there are others who need it, too.

If there is need for the driver and tools disks, let me know.

Also I sized all jpgs to 1600x1200x32 if there is need for the plain jpgs it's about 11MB now.
