Well done again Phantasm!

Phantasm
02 March 2007, 23:17
had to use one of these at college many years ago when i was supposed to be learning how to code 6502 assembler

Coagulus
03 March 2007, 00:34
Looks a little like the Rockwell AIM-65.

http://www.ntrautanen.fi/computers/other/images/rockwell_aim65.jpg

Phantasm
03 March 2007, 00:37

Coagulus
03 March 2007, 00:37

Phantasm
03 March 2007, 00:59

Here we go... what be it? :D

---=== EDITED ===---
Reuploaded the screenies with the original from the device's site ;)

Phantasm
16 March 2007, 00:20
tricky.... any clues?

frikilokooo
16 March 2007, 02:13
The new PS3?

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 11:33
It's a device from the future, build to work with and enable some device from the past to use devices from the future. :)

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 13:20
would that be in the past or the future?

or could it be right now?!

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 13:35
More like future counting from that original device's time, so... present ;)

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 14:02
they look USB like too me..... or atleast attachable...

i think there an interface... perhaps for some other plugtype.....

joystick maybe.... printer / serial perhaps...

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 14:13
OK. It's pretty much guessed now...
Added all the available pictures, and as you can see, there are 2 types of USB connectors.
One of them is a host cartridge, the other a slave cartridge.
That's all i can say :D

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 14:20
hmmmm so your saying its a

USB kinky S'n'M SEX thing?!

wow.....

i am not asking where you put them....

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 14:22

musashi5150

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 16:16
Atari Cartridge copier, reader.

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 16:25
Nope. Something more like, the other way around ;)

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 16:31
hmmmies,

cartridge writer? programmer, atari action replay thingy?

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 16:42
No, no... you're still thinking about it as a "device from the past" :blased
What it does, is... enables the use of devices from "our" time ;)

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 16:45
Compact Flash to Atari 2600 ?

Zetr0
16 March 2007, 16:47
Gives a USB port to an Atari VCS/2600 +>

Shoonay
16 March 2007, 16:58
The site says it's for Atari XL/XE (6502), but due to my lack of knowledge about Atari's, let's say it's a guess! :great

Found it here (http://www.strotmann.de/twiki/bin/view/Microusb/ProjUSBCartTwoPic)

USB Flashdrive in Atari XL: http://www.strotmann.de/twiki/pub/Microusb/ProjUSBConvThreePic/DSCN0419.jpg

Geez Dizzy, you found something really cool!

Dizzy
28 March 2007, 20:09
thx :)

Listen to this text

***** is a unique and innovative console that uses peripherals to interact with onscreen games. The console contains image recognition and infrared sensors that can detect player movements. These movements are calculated by a proprietary multiprocessor that measures both velocity and angle. The multiprocessor then translates the actions into onscreen movement.
Getting players to immerse themselves into games with body movements is not something new. However, this is the first time a console has been dedicated to providing this "Get your butt off the couch" interactive gaming experience. What makes ***** even more unique is that the console’s multiprocessor is not installed inside the system itself. The multiprocessor can be found in each game cartridge. This concept has not been seen since the 1970’s with Milton Bradley’s Microvision (http://darkwatcher.psxfanatics.com/handheld/microvision.htm)or the "Pong on a chip" PC-50X Family (http://darkwatcher.psxfanatics.com/console/pc50xfam.htm). This makes ****** an easily upgradable machine

some google should give the answer ;)
