Transcend sram cards?

I keep seeing these transcend sram cards on the internet. Will these work as sram on an A600/A1200? They seem to fit the description of pcmcia type 1, 2mb, labelled sram. However all the info I find on them suggests that they are used as storage rather than ram. Can these be used with cardprep and used as fast ram?

Im pretty sure these transcend ones can but im not 100% sure.

It should work. I bought one month ago from same ebay seller similar SRAM card (it's not this transcend, some with colorful sticker), and the description was the same as for this ones. That card works in my A600 and A1200. Also I've recomended that seller to Zetr0, I think he bougth the same card as I for his A600.

I have that same card in 4MB. It works perfectly in my A600 (and A1200). I just needed to buy a new battery for it.

(in yoda-esq. voice) to cane you must listern (hehe) cane also gave me a bit of really good advice as well, if you are going to use it as fast ram, load workbench first and pre-card the item first as fast ram... it will reduce the boot times :)

Gosh, I'd love to pop one of these in my a600. I've been looking for something similar on the Polish auction sites for ages now. Need to get a PayPal account ASAP.
