So, what do you guys think about the new design? ;)
A very refreshing sight IMHO. I guess this is to prepare for the new year, perhaps.

Though the look might've improved, what's more important is how are the latest versions of MAME 32 (Win 98 friendly version, not the DOS version), improved?
Are they as stable & fast as 036final was? What sort of CPU grunt in necessary now, will a Celeron 900 be sufficient??

I prefer MAME32 to the Windows console version (the one without a GUI, like the DOS version) because it seems to run games in better quality, plus it doesn't adopt some dumb fixed resolution which makes the game look ridiculous. :rolleyes

I'm posting only negative comments today, I don't know why but here it goes:
Mame suxxx dixxxx...no maybe that's too harsh..
If mame wasn't emulating nearly everything, I don't think I'd keep in on my HD. dos version forces 60hz on any screenmode so it's impossible to use it for me and mame32 runs *all* the games worser than any other emulator, if the game can be emulated at all. It's not always about the speed but you get a cheap feeling somehow. It doesnt't have nice looking blending modes for gfx and afaik, it cannot save and load memory states can it?

AFAIK the team are currently working on "memory save states" as we speak.

The site looks a bit better, but no bananas.
