I can't find whdload version of Space Harrier: Return to the Fantasy Zone
anywhere.. Does it exist ? If not, well, it would be nice to play that game from hd.. it's one of my older favorite Amiga games ;-)

I've played the original, but not this version. AFAIK a WHDLoad install has not been written for this game. It's a case of finding an original copy of the game.

@Solid Snake
That's it! Hopefully someone has the original and helps with that whdload install. I've only played cracked floppy version :-(
But Space Harrier 2 is total crap, compared to this particular version ;-)

So is this Space Harrier 3 or something?

@girv
I don't think that it's Space Harrier 3, it just seems to be some kind of extra version or bonus game in addition to Space Harrier part one..
as many games get mission disks or the like later on, after main release..?!
However, if someone knows better, please correct me. I'm just guessing :-)

This (http://hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/spaceharrier/spaceharrier.htm) page says they had to split the game into Space Harrier and Space Harrier: Return to the Fantasy Zone due to it's size.

The Elite's Finale compilation has 2 disks, Space Harrier and
Space Harrier (Return to the Fantasy zone).

Why does anyone still like playing Arcade conversions on the Amiga??
I much rather fire up MAME (or some other arcade emulator) on my PC / XBOX and play the original game.
Surely no-one just has an Amiga these days?

I personally agree, I rarely play any games on my Amiga/MD/Snes that I can play in MAME/FBA or whatever. Unless of course they have some exclusive content or have some added features.
I just requested it to add to the whdload packs.
You just get some people who still want to play them on the Amiga I suppose. It's like the recent thread talking about getting the SMS emulator working on the Amiga. I don't see the point :)
