Alien Breed problems.

I am having trouble getting Alien Breed to work. The first disk runs fine, but when it says insert disk 2 nothing happens. I eject the first, and put in the second, but it just sits on the insert disk 2 screen. I've tried 2 dloads of alienbreed now and they both do the same. Any ideas?

I'm running winUAE0.8.17 r3
setup for a500: 68000 processor, 1mg ram, 1.3 kickstart

Oh dear. Seems i'd tried the mouse and numpad, but not my joypad :)
