i have been doing some research into Lemmings of late, and according to this site;

http://home.wanadoo.nl/lemmings-solution/index2.html

the two "Xmas" (not Holiday!) Lemmings demos i have just uploaded to The Zone, include some unique levels, not in the released games.

what with Xmas fast approaching, i was thinking these might accompany New Year Lemmings quite well? if anyone is game for making some slaves for them?

thanks guys.

and thanks to KG for sourcing them for me too....

EDIT:

forgot to mention the Future Entertainment Show demo of Lemmings 2 too.... would love to see this WHDloaded.... (since i have a couple of oriingal copies... hehe) - i have also uploaded this

Just want to say a big thanks to Psygore for making the whdload installs for both xmas demos!

Must have slipped through the EAB news net ;)

Might as well mention that there appears to be two different Xmas Lemmings 91 demos, ladies and gentlemen!

Check out the six versions of Xmas Lemmings in TOSEC. Four of them are the same demo as seen on Amiga Format 30. But the one with the [a3] flag appears to be a unique version, with its own startup text and cleanup text (similar to the Xmas Lems 92 demo). While the first two levels are the same as in the AF demo, the other two are different levels from Oh No! More Lemmings, plus there's two other music tunes in the game now instead of one (one way of telling the difference between the two versions - apart from memorising and utilising the passwords to access later levels quickly that is - is to check what tune is being played on Level 2 (which is the same in both games). If it's the same tune from Level 1, then it's the AF demo, but if it's a different piece of music, it's this other demo).

Meanwhile, the ADF marked with [a5] is actually the Xmas Lemmings 92 demo. Time for a bit of a renaming cleanup methinks! ;)

So to summarise:

Xmas Lemmings (demo-playable) (1991)(Psygnosis)[a3].adf is a different demo to the others.

Xmas Lemmings (demo-playable) (1991)(Psygnosis)[a5].adf is Xmas Lemmings 92.
