WinUAE 08.17 r1 -r3 W98 crash

I've used to run WinUae08.8 r3 without problem but I need the store state feature in 08.17.
Installation works fine, but when I try start it crashes,
I've clean registry-> no changes still crash(I've noted that no localmashine registry key are added after 08.17. installation, in 08.8 a key is added)

I've reinstall 08.8-> this version works fine for me but it lacks the state save feature.

Any idea of what to do?

First thing to ask Car,
What PC are you running it on?
What screen resolution, etc.
I do recall other people posting problems with WinUAE 08.17x
I think there's a technical issue about it not being able to run on Full screen mode on anything less than 16bit colour & 800x600 screen resolution.

I'm running on PII 233, I've elaborated with different display settings from 256 colors to 32 bit settings and 1024x768 in screen area, but it don't seem to have any affect on 8.17 it crashes 1-2 sec after a execution trial.
