I'm searching original raytraced HAM image of Dave Wecker. I see it on an old A500 Advert Here (http://amigamuseum.emu-france.com/Fichiers/Images/pubs-amiga/pub_amiga500_page01.jpg)

That's pretty neat. I'd like to get that too.

I'm still looking for the original raytraced Sculpt 4D "thing", the raytraced ball from a DCTV advertisement and the raytraced "falling balls" from a HAM-E advertisement.

Just a few weeks ago, I found the original Apple renders seen in late 80's Mac II advertisements (it was rendered on a Cray - the cheaters!).

I love renders from the 1980's.

I've uploaded an ADF of "APDC#13", a PD disk containing Dave Wecker's DBW-Render (in the "Ray Tracer" directory). This has the source for that image ("glass.dat") and the raytracer output ("glass.tmp"). As I recall, the "ray2" program will turn that into a HAM image.

Some years back I rebuilt DBW-Render for the PC: my machined managed to render that image at a higher resolution and greater colour depth in less than a minute :) See http://www.d.kinder.btinternet.co.uk/dbw.html
