Hi guys, what would be the possibility of getting a hot key that will display an overlay within the game indicating currently selected disk image in DF0: that by pressing will toggle between disk 1, 2, 3 etc for those multi disk games that only allow df0:.
So for example... User is prompted to insert disk 3 in df0: - user then taps designated key 3 times to "insert" disk 3 and then presses the fire button (etc) to continue. (and naturally the key can be changed for specific games if that key is already mapped by the game).
Basically the info stored in the config file for that specific game can be used to check path and diskname to enable the toggling.
One of the main reasons i ask is that if you set up Winuae on a Mame machine using a limited amount of buttons you have to use a keyboard to enter the menu system to change disks. using a preset button would be a lot easier. Naturally all the images for a specific game would have to reside in its own exclusive directory but i believe thats what everyone does anyway (I know i do for any game that has more than one disk.
I know`there is a disk swapper option but for using Winuae on an arcade machine via a front end (GameEx) this is a lot simpler to use, especially for little kids (and the big ones :)
