This is an actual screen from an actual Amiga game. Twistin is not allowed to play because he knows what game this is from.

Okay, I admit two things: I suck at this Name That Game thing, and yes that is a screen from Puppy Love, which I ripped as a file from the ADF.
Here's another quiz. Can you tell me what is special about the attached image:

Errrm It's not from puppy love? So that would make it this thread's first pic not from puppy love (Except for the avatars)

I don’t know what is special about the second pic in this thread but it definitely looks French. Is it ripped from Future Wars or Operation Stealth?
About Puppy Love: What type of game is this and when was it released?
B.T.W. Dpainter, I really like your Preston Lacey avatar...:p

That second picture was one of several printed in the first issue of Amiga World (USA) back in 1985. It looked a lot better in Amiga World thanks to the smoothing features of scanlines and low dot-pitch monitors. I found the picture on Workbench 1.0 Demos, if anyone wants that disk.

Yeah, man...I don't know if I have that disk or not. Would be worth a look! I think I have that issue of AW in my retro cave.

Here's a scan from the original Amiga World image. The picture was drawn by Jack Haeger, who also did the graphics for the arcade game Sinistar:

Here's the offical reply from the company that actually MADE "Puppy Love":
Thank you for your interest in Tom Snyder Productions,
Unfortunately Puppy Love is not a program carried by Tom Snyder
Productions. I wish that I could
give you more information, but I do not have any about this program.
Yours in great teaching,
