Anyone got a list of all the decent Point n Clicks for the Amiga? Also could you put them in order of quality. I have quite alot of them already, but I am wondering what else is out there that I'm missing.
P.S. English games only if poss.
P.P.S. Did @Gilbert and the Mushrooms of Phungoria@ ever get released on the Miggy?
Cheers in advance......

I've been told by someone that (supposedly) is close with Crystal Interactive (or whatever they're called now) that Gilbert Goodmate is still in development on the Amiga and will be available soon (the PC version is already out)
I don't believe him though

Who's that then?? I'd say I'm quite close with Crystal Interactive. I did live at the guys house for 2 months and also did some work for them. :D I also got to meet the creators of Gilbert and got an early look at it on a laptop. I really loved it!! It was a very funny game. Whoever said they are developing an Amiga version is lying. It's a PC only game. Although it was originally intended as an Amiga game.

Try looking at our Website section. There you will find links that point to databases arranging games in categories. try looking for Amiga Games Overview and Amiga A to Z as well. My fave point n click is by far Lure of the Temptress.

aha! Thanks for confirming my suspicions steve! I believe you more than I believe him :D
I won't reveal who the person is (he's not a board member). :)

I can't say this is a definitive "full" listing Doozy, but here's a few point'n'click games that you probably recognise...
Zak Mcracken-(LucasArts)
Maniac Mansion
Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade
Loom
Indiana Jones 4 Atlantis Adventure
Secret of Mokey Island
Secret of Monkey Island 2-Le Chuck's revenge.
Future Wars (Delphine)
Operation Stealth
Cruise for a Corpse
Lure of the Temptress (Revolution Software)
Beneath a Steel Sky
Legend of Kyrandia (Westwood/Virgin)
I see a posting elsewhere about Dynamix/Sierra Stuff, so this is at least a start...

Well, :bash me if I'm telling nonsense, but I *think* that Deja Vu can also be called a "Point'n Click' adventure.

No one has mentioned one of the best point and click adventure games ever made for the Amiga. Flight of the Amazon Queen. Shame on all of you! :shocked

Amazon Queen was really easy to finish. If you want to be challenged, go for the Monkey Island games :D

Speaking of Monkey Island, what does everyone think of Monkeys 3 & 4?
They still play kinda great, IMO. :great

Monkey 3 was still fun and funny
Monkey 4 is alright, but I don't like the "Grim Fandango" feel to it

How about Darkseed and Dreamweb? As far as I remember playing from Darkseed it was point and click. Dreamweb is most definately point and click although untraditional point and click. Has a good story too. Unfortunately the Amiga version didn't quite live up to my expectations. I have the PC CD version where half the stuff is spoken (Clearly done afterwards, much dialog is missing speech). But even without the speech and just the Disk version (Which I played pirated which in turn made me buy the game on CD when I found it) still had more to offer than the Amiga I'm afraid. I simply loved the soundtrack for the PC version, it created a lot more ambience than the Amiga version's soundtrack managed to create, and the PC version was better done too (No lagging a second every 10 seconds like the AGA version does on me). It had more stuff to enhance the ambience, like the rain falling outside. I think you can hear the sound in the Amiga version. On the PC version when you go outside you can see the rain and the screen will light up with the thunderclaps. But I think I went a little too far pointing out 2 point&click games. Sorry.

Never played or saw Flight of the Amazon queen, when I read it was being programmed here in Australia,(By a team who'd already programmed a couple of PC releases that were published O/S), I suspected it wasn't going to be a good Amiga version.
Say Drake-if you played Darkseed, how the heck did you survive the use of the Interlace mode? Atmospheric GFX, definitely, but too hard on the eyes for my liking-I never bothered to buy it after playing the demo version!!

Well that's easy. Maybe because it was Dreamweb I played a lot, not Darkseed. I played Darkseed for a whooping 5 minutes on the PC before the sound scared me off (It sounded a lot like it was broken, come to think of it I think I've been hearing similar sounds on some old DOS games now). The intro and the sound was enough to scare me off.

You can add to the list Nippon Safes Inc. and The Big Red Adventure from Dynabyte (italian softhouse).
The first came on 5 disks and the second is CD only (but HD installable) and they're multilanguage (english included of course).

I have a specials-magazine of Amiga Joker that features all adventure games ever produced until 1992 for Amiga, ST and PC. They reviewed many titles I had never heard of before.
Here is a list of adventures I can come up with now. I don't know if they are all point'n'click:
Bargon Attack (Loriciel, 1992)
Codename: Iceman (Sierra On-line, 1990)
Colonel's Bequest (Sierra On-line, 1990)
Curse of Enchantia (Core Design, 1992)
Demoniak (Palace, 1990)
Emanuelle (Coktel Vision, 1990)
Hook (Ocean, 1992)
KGB (Cryo, 1992)
Labyrinth of Time for CDTV/CD32 (EA, 1994)
Leisure Suit Larry (1,2,3,5) (Sierra)
Les Manley: Search for the King (Accolade, 1990)
Maya: The Incan adventure (Loriciel, 199x)
Police Quest 1-3 (Sierra)
Quest for Glory 1-3 (Sierra)
Simon the Sorcerer 1 (Adventuresoft, 1993)
Simon the Sorcerer 2 (Epic Marketing?, 2000)
Space Quest 1-4 (Sierra)
Universe (Core Design, 1994)
Ween -The Prophecy (Coktel Vision, 1992)

Demoniak is a textadventure with some pics in between.
The Sierra & Accolade games only have point and click for movements.
Maya has the same controls like Colorado (joystick + F-keys).

I like Monkey 3's graphic approach, cartoony shit, pretty good. The game's not as funny as before because Ron Gilbert went out...
Monkey 4 is shite. The 3D graphics dont suit Monkey Island IMO...
Talking about Point n clickers... what about the Coktel Vision games like Fascination, Gobliins, etc? And Future Wars, Operation stealth et al by Delphine?

S4murai, thanks for clearing up some things. There is also an adventure game I almost forgot: Psygnosis’ Obitus. I am sure this is not a point ‘n’ click adventure because I've never played it.
Akira, I think the Goblins trilogy are more a puzzle than an adventure. The games consists of levels one has to solve. Since I am not good in puzzles I erased the first Goblins after a few goes. Shame on me.:sad
I have finished Operation Stealth once with a walkthrough by hand. (I am also not good at Adventuring). This game has so many different subgames that it is more a mix of gamingstyles than a pure adventure. It is a great adventure like they don’t make them anymore. Pity the ingame speech cannot be turned off.
I have also a question: in the last issues of Amiga Format in 1999/2000 there was a walkthrough of an adventure game that was released the very same year. It looked very impressive. Anyone knows the title?

Basically you could argue though that all adventure games were large puzzle games. And Gobliiins was level based. So was Gobliins2 and Goblins3, but at least Gobliins2 had a couple of screens you could move freely between.
Akira

Goblins is like a point n click adventure to me. Not a graphic adventure like Monkey Island, but if we extend our domain to 'point n click adventures', I'd say it fits. But it really is a borderliner of a game.
About Operation Stealth... There was a game released in... ~1993... for ST and Amiga, it was french, and looked very similar... The Shortgrey, I think was the name??? It looked quite cool...

There is one Point and Clicker that you Amiga owners never had. The spooky, beautiful Atari St game, Sheer Agony. This was a wonderful , rare game that I played on my Atari St long ago, and was the envy of my Amigan buddies. Its set in a spooky old house, like the 7th Guest, but far better than that PeeCee drivel of a game. Shame, the Amiga's graphics chip would have done this game justice.
I can't believe you all forgot the Kings Quest games, the best IMHO...

Point & Click adventures are cool as most people have probably listed the ones I would suggest are:
Drakseed
Secret of Monkey Island
Secret of Monkey Island 2 - Le Chucks Revenge
Simon the Sorcerer
