software failure again

Hello,

I have downloaded about 15 games for my amiga 500 emulator (WinUAE) and about 4 work! Of the rest, about 9 games start loading up and then I get that sorftware error/guru meditation screen.
Is this a normal ratio?
I wouldnt mind this, but I then tried to create a save game adf and I started my emulator with the workbench 1.3 adf and I get that screen again!
Surely I must be doing something wrong for this to happen so much.

Can anyone offer me any help, please?

Well, there are kinda standard configs for the games out there to run in WinUAE .... try this : http://www.back2roots.org to see which config you must use for a game ..... perhaps you could also give an example of a game not running and tell us which WinUAE version you are using :confused

A lot of the time it is down to the configuration you are using.

I suspect one or more of your ADFs are virus infected and killed the other ones.
To prevent this, set all ADF files to write protect in Windows, or try running a viruskiller over them.
