Hired Guns

As you can probaly guess i am looking to get hold of a working version of hired guns. I have tried three different sites to get it but all of them don`t work. Am i doing somthing wrong?
If someone does have hired guns or mybe knows why it wont load please reply.

I've seen a few pirated versions of Hired Guns about, but none of those have actually cracked the game properly. One week I came up with a cunning plan, I figured anyone who cracked the game would take out the manual protection, play the game a bit and leave it at that. But I included a routine that detects if the game has been altered, it then does nothing until you make a certain amount of saves at which point it messes up your save files, just when you're getting into the game.

Perhaps the programmer is right and it hasn't been cracked properly? Where exactly does the version you have get messed up?

Yes I have tried the pe2000 version. All I get is black screen with a blue bar at the bottom. I got Lotus 3 from there which also didn`t work, and my setup is not wrong because i have other titles which do work.

You're right Codetapper, I also tried several versions of Hired Guns.. A friend of mine wanted Hired guns.. He was very good at it.. He played it for some levels and all of a sudden the save games were lost... He told me this problem occured on his versions, but is also occured on all the versions I found on the net..
So, in my opinion Hired Guns never actually get proper cracked...

My problem with Hired Guns is not saving it but actually load it in the first place. I have not yet found a working version of it. It loads up to the point where it shows whose hacked it and only shows a black screen after that point, absolutely no loading activity.

Mok never upload the 5 adf version.
I suppose that he whas unable to create adf disk from the amiga disks

You can find a 5 disks version on The DreamZone but i don't know if it works fine. Anyway you can still use the executable file linked above.
I can't believe there's no working version on internet !

The version I installed to harddisk from was a 6 disk version. 5 disks for the game, but if it was to be installed it needed a disk 0 as well as the 5 game disks.

English version. Don't know if the crack was good since I never played it that much. (I kept dieing, plus I'm not quite sure how to save) But I'm hanging on to that executable file just in case.

while seeking for a game on a cd, i found by the same way Hired Guns ORIGINAL :shocked

You've 3 days to grab it from The Zone ;) It came in 5 disks then use the Hired Guns cracked from the link above.

Hope it works on emulators too.
